SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Presented by TRAXXAS

The  2014 Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix weekend featured the “SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Presented by TRAXXAS” truck series.  This race features identically prepared 600 horsepower trucks which  are designed to resemble there scaled down TRAXXS raido-controlled-car counterparts.  Like the smaller raido-controlled versions these trucks are made to fly down the course.  The Detroit race featured strategically place ramps throughout the course, and this allows the vehicles to reach heights of nearly twenty feet and to fly hundreds of feet down the course.  Here are a couple of images from the Detroit race.  I will be adding more images, so please check back for updates.  For more information see the official web site:  www.stadiumsupertrucks.com
