As her web site describes: Barbara Payton is a sultry, Detroit rock singer/songwriter with a soulful, bluesy voice.  Barbara has been an opening act for Joe Cocker, Pat Benatar, Lou Gramm, Eddie Money, Jonatha Brooke and Terri Clark.  In addition to her solo career Barbara has toured as a backgroud singer with both Bob Seger and Kid Rock.  The 2013 Royal Oak Arts, Beats and Eats featured Barbara twice once with Blood Sisters  and with her band the Instigators featuring: Dale Grisa keyboards, Kris Kurzawa guitar and Bobby Murray guitar.  You can check out Barbara at barbarapayton.com.  Be sure to check out the vidieos.  Including her with Bob Seager who was joined by Bruce Springsteen for “Old Time Rock and Roll”, Steven Tyler performing “Amazing Grace” and Kid Rock’s “Rock and Roll Jesus” all great performances.
